5 Tips to Establish your Brand’s Voice on Social Media
5 Ways to Create Sharable Content on Social Media
If you’re looking to create sharable content on social media, look no further! In this blog post, we will discuss five different ways that you can create content that is likely to be shared by your followers. Keep in mind that not all of these methods will work for every business, so it’s important to tailor your approach accordingly. Let’s get started!
Be original.
Be yourself, be kind and follow the beat of your own drum. Copying the business model of others may not necessarily work for you. Tweaking the business model to suit the needs of your audience is what is important. I have some friends that are amazing with Canva. While others aren’t. Myself included. Although, I love promotions and connecting with people. So I offer my advice to others. Find what you love about your writing and grow your strength from there.
Use humor.
If you can make someone laugh, you’re more likely to get their attention. Just be careful not to overdo it or come across as a try-hard. A little bit of humor can go a long way!
Be helpful.
No one likes a know-it-all, but everyone appreciates someone who is willing to share their knowledge and expertise. If you can provide your followers with helpful information that they can use in their everyday lives, they will be more likely to share your content with others.
Use visuals.
People are more likely to share content that is visually appealing. If you can incorporate images, infographics, or even videos into your social media posts, you will be more likely to get people to share your content.
Ask open-ended questions.
When communicating with your audience or readers, ask open-ended questions to get them talking. Not just “What is your favorite part of the book.” But rather, be specific but also engaging. Such as “What characteristics of this character do you like or not like and why?” This creates more discussion about your book. For more ideas, join book club groups or follow book club blogs. This may help you see what readers are talking about.
Ask questions.
Asking questions is a great way to engage your followers and get them thinking about your brand. Use social media as a platform to start discussions and see what your followers have to say about your products or services.
Give a new perspective.
If you feel like you’re stuck in a rut, it may be time to switch up your perspective. This could be as simple as writing from a different character’s point of view or from a different genre. If you’re feeling really daring, try writing a story in verse or create a choose-your-own-adventure book. Just remember to have fun with it and let your creativity flow! Ask your characters questions. For example, what they would do in a certain situation. Or what they would say. Maybe use a writing prompt to help get the creativity flowing.

Make it easy to read.
No one likes a wall of text. Breaking up your content with headlines, subheadings, and bullet points makes it much easier for people to skim through and find the information they’re looking for. Plus, it’ll make your article look a lot more inviting.
Include images or videos.
As we mentioned before, people are more likely to share content that is visually appealing. If you can incorporate images, infographics, or even videos into your blog post, you will be more likely to get people to share your content.
Be relatable.
Write about topics that are relatable to your readers or followers. It could be something as simple as a blog post about your day-to-day routine or a behind-the-scenes look at your business. By being relatable, you will build trust and credibility with your audience which will make them more likely to share your content.
Provide value.
Your content should always provide value to your audience. This could be in the form of entertainment, education, or inspiration. If your content is valuable, your audience will be more likely to share it with others.
Tell a story.
Stories are a great way to connect with your audience and get them emotionally invested in what you’re saying. When people can relate to your story, they’re more likely to share it with others. So next time you’re creating content, think about how you can incorporate storytelling into your posts.
By following these tips, you will be on your way to creating sharable content on social media! Just remember to be relatable, and timely, use images and videos, create listicles or infographics, and provide value!
KISS
Keep it simple. This is very important. Be clear, short, and to the point when talking about your books or engaging your audience. Ask 1 question in a post, or have a simple explanation of the game.
Links
This is a great way to get people to your site, or product. By adding a link to your post, you make it easier for customers and followers to find what they are looking for. If you are promoting a new book, include a link to where they can purchase it.
Hashtags
Use hashtags! They are there for a reason. Hashtags help categorize content and make it easier for people to find what they are looking for. When used correctly, hashtags can be very powerful tools. Try using popular hashtags, as well as ones specific to your niche.
Images
Make sure the image is high quality and clear. People are visual creatures and will respond well to an image that is pleasing to the eye. If you are promoting a book, make sure the cover is visible.
Videos
Videos are a great way to engage your audience. People love watching videos, and they are an excellent way to promote your content. If you have a book trailer or other promotional video, make sure to post it on social media!
Follow up
Show your support to your audience with a simple comment, gif, or such. This also bumps the post to take center stage in the posts that are in your group. Also, do this when you post in other groups. As the algorithm will then work in your favor. Watch your time when things are posted, and commented on. When replying back, be sure to reply during the golden hour times. As then your post will be seen by a larger audience.
Use calls to action.
Calls to action are one of the best ways to encourage your followers to share your content. By asking them directly to share, you increase the chances that they will do so. Make sure that your call to action is specific and clear, and that it provides value for the person sharing it. For example, you might ask them to share your post with their friends if they found it helpful.
Another great way to create sharable content is to make it visually appealing. People are more likely to share something if it looks good on their feed. Use high-quality images and videos, and make sure that your posts are well-designed. You can also use tools like Canva to create professional-looking visuals without having to hire a designer.
Finally, make sure that your content is relevant and timely. Share something that your followers will care about, and that they won’t be able to find anywhere else. For example, if you’re a business, you might share industry news or tips on how to use your products. If you’re a blogger, you might share personal stories or insights on current events. Whatever you share, make sure it’s something that your followers will appreciate.
